Barbara A Lee

January 21, 1931 — October 26, 2021

Barbara A. Lee, formerly a long-time resident of Auburn, NH passed away at Courville of Manchester on October 26, 2021.  She was born in Manchester on January 21, 1931, to the late Harry and Dorothy Nyberg.  She graduated from Central High School as well as Hesser College.

Barbara married Bernard E. Lee in 1951.  In 1953 they moved to Auburn and started their family.  Barbara lived in this home until she moved to Courville in 2016.

Barbara worked for the Telephone Workers’ Credit Union until the birth of her first child.  In later years, she worked and retired as a bookkeeper for the Town of Auburn.

Barbara enjoyed horseback riding, reading, knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles and church activities.

Barbara is survived by her four children and their (spouses):  Gary Lee (Andrea) of New Boston, Carol Bournival (Larry) of Bedford, Debra Boucher (Frank) of Bow and Bernard Lee (Vicky) of Pembroke.  In addition, she leaves seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband in 2009, her sister Dolly and her grandson Daniel Foster.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Longmeadow Congregational Church, 4 Wilson’s Cross Road, Auburn, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester. Masks and social distancing are required.
