Diana Lee Abruzzese

Diana Lee (Reed, Lloyd) Abruzzese, 71, Manchester, NH, peacefully entered heaven on August 15, 2021, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Diana was born November 1, 1949, in Concord, to James and Louise (Abruzzese) Reed. She pursued and achieved her dream of earning a Masters Degree from Western New England College in 1997, taught as a college professor at Hesser College, NHTI, and Manchester Community College, and worked at the VA Hospital in Bedford, MA. In her spare time, she ran her crafting business, Crafts by Diane, knitting everything under the sun. She was a lover of all animals, adopting Boots, Shadow, and her service dog Bentley; a kind soul who would put her family and friends first.

She leaves behind a husband of 45 years, retired Air Force David E. Lloyd I, son, retired Air Force David E. Lloyd II and his wife Amanda, and three grandchildren, Benjamin, Anthony, and Cadence Lloyd. Additionally, she leaves behind many friends including Chuck and Betty Liporto, Connie Lafond, Doctor Sam Ayan, Gina Liporto and her boyfriend Kevin Tibbetts, Lia Liporto and her husband Anthony Griffey, Eric and Erin MacDonald, and thousands of students.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 24th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester St., corner of Beech St. The funeral will be celebrated Wednesday, August 25th at 10 a.m. at Blossom Hill Chapel, corner of Rumford Street and Granite Place, Concord. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Concord.
