Edward F Mrozek

May 5, 1934 — December 16, 2023

Ed was born in Manchester May 5, 1934, the son of Joseph and Balbina (Michalak) Mrozek. He graduated from St Joseph's High School, Class of 1951. He proudly served in the USAF 1961-1962 during the Berlin Crisis. He also worked as a Computer Operator/Analyst for the Chubb Corporation for many years until his retirement in 1996.

Ed's marriage to his beloved Germaine November 9, 1957 was filled with many vacations, casino trips, bowling league teammates, and activities supporting St Hedwig Church for years. He was also a member of the St Joseph Society at the church.

Ed enjoyed golf and had a hole in one playing in his golf league in a contest sponsored by the newspaper. He watched many sports with the New England Patriots and New York Yankees his favorite teams.

In addition to the loss of his wife on November 17, 2012, Ed was predeceased by his sister Helen and her husband George Farmer, and two brothers Stanley and Walter Mrozek.

Surviving members of his close family are his son Joseph S. Mrozek and his wife Kristen of Longmeadow, Ma., daughter Karen A. Love and her husband Raymond of Decatur, Al, five grandchildren, Jack and Braeden Mrozek, Jessica and Joshua Daniell, and Cassidy Carlotto Wells, a great grandchild, Avari Hall, and nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 6, at 9.30 am until 10.30 am at Durning, Bykowski, and Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester St. (corner of Beech St.), Manchester, NH.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at St Hedwig Church,147 Walnut St, Manchester, (corner of Beech St. and Orange St), followed by Ed's burial beside his wife in St Hedwig's Cemetery, Old Bedford Rd., Bedford, NH.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Ed's name to The Felician Sisters of Enfield, Ct., c/o 147 Walnut St., Manchester, N.H. 03104.
