Beloved mother and grandmother, Gail G. Parker passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2021 surrounded by her loving family after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Raised in Tottenville, NY she met her soulmate in the city and moved to Staten Island, NY where she remained a resident until 1986 when the family moved to Manchester, NH. Gail recently split her time between her home in NH and her home in Friendship, M E where she realized her dream of owning a piece of Maine near family where she spent her summers as a child.

Gail lived a life full of adventure, mischief, happiness and love. A fter graduating from Tottenville HS she traveled the world before returning home to work in the city. She held numerous jobs from working on Wall Street to having the distinction of being a member of the graduating class containing the first women police officers to work patrols in New York City. Although prestigious her favorite job was that of a domestic engineer and raising her children. Gail enjoyed spending time with her family and friends , was an avid quilter and happily made miniature quilts for the local animal shelter for the “orphans”. Her life was full of love and happiness. Throughout her battle with cancer, she found comfort visiting with her family and friends. She bravely faced her diagnosis and lived life to the fullest until the very end. Gail believed in helping others and lived by the golden rule.

Gail had unconditional love for her f amily and friends. S he always took time to listen, offer comfort and support, Gail was an inspir ation to everyone.

Surviving are h er two children Colleen Parker and Brian Parker, two grandchildren, Brian’s children , Katelyn Parker and Evan Parker along with numerous cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
