Kathleen Elizabeth Burl-Cardin

Kathleen Elizabeth Burl-Cardin, 71, of Bedford, NH died on May 31, 2022 from metastatic cancer.  Kathleen (Kitty) was born in Manchester, NH on July 10, 1950 to Anne Marie Schilling and Kenneth Clement Burl.

She grew up with three siblings and enjoyed playing marbles with her brother, David, and raising a bird named Mr. Tweety.  She also had a half-brother, Kenny, who she adored.  She loved art, music, playing the guitar and singing.  She loved living in the country with all her animals that she enjoyed so much.  She was a gifted master gardener and quite the carpenter and very proud of her hard work.  Her achievements included getting a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and completing Police Standards Correctional Officers training while raising 3 beautiful children:  Jennifer, Paul and Kimberly.  She had many beloved friends and will be missed dearly.

Kathleen is survived by two of her children: Jennifer Lynn Burl and Kimberly Anne Cardin, siblings: David Burl, Dorothy Nathani and Ronald Tanner, grandchildren:  Daniel Mcgann, Alexis Cardin, Alana Cardin-Sweet, Cody Williams and Riley Williams.  She was predeceased by her son, Paul Kenneth Cardin and brother, Kenny Burl.

Services:  Calling hours will be on Tuesday, June 7, from 9:00-11:00 AM at Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester Street, Manchester, followed by a graveside service at 12:00 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Ave., Manchester, NH.
