Robert “Bobby” Deschuiteneer, age 58, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2022, after a battle of Frontotemporal Dementia and complications thereof. Bobby was born to Mary and Robert Deschuiteneer Sr. in Manchester, NH on September 18,1963. He was predeceased by his father and step-father Stan Tauscher. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Deschuiteneer, his Mother Mary, and sister Julie and brother-in-law, Tim Nerat, two sons Jacob and Matthew Deshuiteneer, his Aunt Kathy and husband NG, and step-daughter Natalie Harrison and husband, Michael Harrison and his two grandchildren, Stella and Samuel Harrison.
Bobby grew up in Manchester, the city he loved, where he met his best friend John Dolan and the Powers Family. He graduated from Memorial High School, and then continued to UNH where he received his bachelor's degree and attended Franklin Pierce University for his MBA. He had a long and successful career path where he first started as an arbitrator for the SEA/SEIU labor union and then developed his passion for barbering, where he opened Chestnut Street Barber Shop.
He had special interests in guitar playing and singing, painting, spending many wonderful days enjoying the Manchester City Library, and taking long walks through downtown where he was able to engage his beloved community whether it was meeting new people or telling jokes and stories with old friends.
A funeral service will be held Monday, February 14, 2022, at Ste. Marie’s Church in Manchester, 378 Notre Dame Ave, Manchester at 10:00 am. Burial ceremony will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
