Roger Loranger passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Bedford Falls, an assisted living facility in Bedford, NH at the age of 97. He was born in 1926, the son of Wilfred and Marie Loranger.
He is survived by his three daughters; Judith Cook of Londonderry, Patricia Manning of Concord, Mary Loranger of Concord, and one son, Robert Loranger of Colorado. He will also be deeply missed by his seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Roger lived in Manchester all his life, serving his country in the United States Navy during WWII. Roger was a caring man and was always helping others when he could. He was a boy scout, WWII Veteran, and a long-time Manchester firefighter.
He was a great husband, father, and grandfather with an excellent sense of humor. He enjoyed causing a commotion just to quietly walk away smiling while people argued. He will be sorely missed, but we know he is now in heaven with his beloved wife, Catherine, and family.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester St, Manchester (corner of Beech).
