Rose Aimee (Cote) Schlottmann

Rose Aimee (Cote) Schlottmann, 92, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Rose was born August 6, 1930, in Epping, NH, daughter of William J. Cote and Regina M. (Bernier) Cote, one of nine children.

Rose was educated in Epping schools, graduated from Epping High School (Watson Academy) in 1948. She continued her education at Mount St. Mary – Sacred Heart Hospital Nursing School, graduating in 1951, to become a Registered Nurse, and worked at the Sacred Heart Hospital for three years. After raising seven children, she returned to work in local nursing homes. Rose was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Parish since 1960, the Shawl Ministry, Spirits Alive and Memorial Meals.

Rose is survived by two sons, Charles Schlottmann of Houston, TX, and William Schlottmann and wife Catherine of Dunbarton, four daughters, Anne McCullough of Pembroke, Nancy Sevigny and husband Kenneth of Manchester, Carol Cahill and husband Timothy of Weare and Mary Carrubba and husband Jason of Atkinson, two sisters, Pauline Nichols of Stratham, and Sister Bernadette Cote of Sisters of Presentation of Mary in Hudson, four brothers, Lionel Cote and Gerard Cote both of Epping, Philip Cote of TX and Robert Cote of Dunnellon, FL. She will also be dearly missed by ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Rose was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert C. Schlottmann Sr., her son, Robert C. Schlottmann Jr. of Manchester, two brothers, Roger Cote of Epping, and Norman Cote of Minnesota, and Son in Law William F. McCullough Jr.

Calling Hours will be Friday, June 2, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 14 Elm St, Manchester, NH. Burial to follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford, NH.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Rose’s name to the Precious Blood Monastery 700 Bridge St. Manchester, NH 03104.
