Sharon Smith

Sharon Smith, age 51, went home to be with her Lord, March 24, 2025 at 7:15 am. She was born in Shreveport, LA, on September 20, 1973, but soon after moved to New Hampshire with her parents where she began attending Easter Seals from 9 months old until she was 6 years old. She then attended public schools' special needs classes from 6 years old until she graduated from Memorial High School in June of 1992.

Sharon, soon after, began attending Gospel Baptist Church with her Mom and her brother. Sharon was a soul winner, would play the piano for offertory, stamped church tracks, was a nursery helper, and visited many of the Sunday School children. She also had a heart for missions and would give faithfully to this cause.

Sharon had Autism along with Diabetes, and she began attending the Moore Center in 2010. She enjoyed various activities such as: cooking classes, playing bingo, visiting McQuesten Farms, but she especially loved doing crafts of all kinds. Sharon was with the Moore Center for over 15 years but her health was declining in recent years due to hearing loss, lung issues, and depression. Sharon passed away at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester with CHF.

Family members include Mother, Marguerite Smith of Manchester; one brother, Jason Smith of Laconia; one aunt, Irene Beliveau of Manchester; two uncles, Andy & Ray Beliveau of Manchester; three nephews and one niece, Caleb, Matthew, Katie, and William of Manchester. She was predeceased by her father, Glenn Smith, and her grandparents, Cecile & Jean Beliveau.

The funeral will be held at Gospel Baptist Church, 52 Concord Street, Manchester, on Saturday, March 29th. Calling hours will be from 10 am -12pm at the church. Funeral is at 12 pm. Refreshments to follow. Any additional information or updates will be posted on Gospel Baptist Church's Facebook page.
