Yvette A. Grandmaison ,91, of Bedford NH, formerly of Manchester, passed away November 2, 2024, at the Bedford Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Gonic, NH on June 30, 1933, the daughter of Alphonse Corbeil and Alice (Forant) Corbeil. Yvette was married to her husband Romauld Gandmaison, who passed away in 2022.
Yvette was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph Cathedral. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary and she bowled with the Tuesday morning bowling league at Kings Bowling Lanes.
She worked at several manufacturing companies throughout Manchester, and worked as a bagger at Hannaford’s Supermarket for over 20 years.
Yvette is survived by a sister Janet Hebert of Manchester, her nephew Robert Corbeil of Manchester NH, and her nieces, Pauline Carrier of Conway, SC, and Paula Berry of Georgetown, SC, as well as many other nephews and nieces.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, and two brothers, Paul Corbeil and Roger Corbeil.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester Street, Manchester, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Cathedral, 145 Lowell Street, Manchester, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Yvette’s name to Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Road, Manchester, NH 03102.
